The laser beam must be precisely aligned to achieve the best cutting quality during laser cutting. This is the only way to exclude angle deviations in advance.
Before starting the cutting process, the exit angle of the beam must be checked by piercing an adhesive strip with the laser beam. The "Tapeshot" allows the best possible adjustment to produce products of excellent quality.
The cutting process starts only when the beam leaves the cutting head absolutely centered. At higher material thicknesses the deviation gets so big that a reworking of the workpiece may be necessary.
With the BrightLine cutting method for thicker materials the quality of the cut edges can be significantly improved.Read more
