We can do heavy metal too. During the 3.5-year training period as a construction mechanic for thin sheet technology (m/f/d), metalworking in all its facets awaits you – from production and assembly to maintenance and repair.

- Duration of training: 3.5 years (however, a reduction to 3 years is possible with good school and company performance)
- Joint training in cooperation with the Riesa qualification centre
- Produce components and metal constructions using manual and mechanical production processes
- Plan, prepare and organise work tasks in a team
- analyse technical drawings and other documents and determine machining processes accordingly
- carry out quality controls
- assemble components and assemblies and use various welding processes
- operate various processing machines
- Next start of training and training places (always on 1 August)

- At least secondary school leaving certificate
- Manual skills and technical interest
- Spatial imagination
- Good grades in maths and physics
